Modern

The Modern era was a tumultuous time, designated mainly by the world wars of the early 20th century and the Cold War that took precedent over the latter. Despite the damage done, significant cultural, societal and scientific progress was also achieved. The hippy wave of the 60's and 70's, the civil rights movement and the space race were all major facets of the modern era, and laid the foundations for the world in which we now live.
