Lorica Squamata is made from lots of tiny brass scales stitched together to form an intricate and comfortable armour. This armour is based on a pattern thought to exist between 1st and 3rd Century.

It is a typical defense for officers and standard bearers. There have been a lot of shapes and styles found in Carnuntum, the capital of the province Pannonia.
